Recently I switched from a Planet Bike Protege computer that had a built in Themometer to a Cateye Strada that did not have a Thermometer. I like having a temperature reading device on the bike. Riding in all kinds temperature and it is nice to know what the reading is when I am riding ... and I missed having one.
I saw the Stem Captain and put one on the threadless headset center cap of my LHT. A nice little item, seems well built and very simple to install.
I opted for the thermometer, they also had a clock, compass and a picture holder.

Mt Borah Freedom Pants - Review
I have been using newly purchased Mt Borah Freedom Pants.
Looking for a cool weather alternative to the long "spandex" look. I found that these pants are as described "the perfect choice for a relaxed fitting cold-weather performance not-so-tight pant. Great for riding and lounging."
•Driflex 350 fabric
•Loose fit for versatile performance
•Zip side pockets
•7" ankle zippers
They are light weight & fit great over bicycle shorts. A different riding look. Although they are not "really warm" ... they do keep the chill off. The zippered angles keep the fabric out of the chain.
I order a second pair !
