Highway 550

Workers clear debris from U.S. 550 over Red Mountain Pass, which remains closed after a rockslide at Mile Marker 90, 2 miles south of Ouray.

Red Mountain Pass (Highway 550) will be closed at least through the weekend as crews clear the area after a massive rock slide.
Rocks continued to fall through the week after the initial slide Sunday night, which took out power lines and covered a 200-foot section of U.S. 550 about 2 miles south of Ouray, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

My old daily commute !   I have been bombarded with rocks in the same spot !
