Amtrak Trains with Bicycle options.

 

Some Amtrak Trains let you place your bicycle on the train in your cabin! 

This is a very nice option on the Missouri River Runner to get to and from the KATY Trail.    

Load up at the Historic Kansas City Train station and head to Jefferson City.  That trip takes a couple of hours.  Depart at the Jefferson City Station a couple of blocks from the State Capital.  It is a short ride to the KATY Trail.
